Manage Strategic Operations Associates, execute initiatives for operational growth, resolve field issues, and develop performance reports and objectives.

Responsible for the execution and management of activities within respective area to meet growth, operational profitability, and quality objectives. Supports daily operations of the Strategic Operations team with a specific focus on building organizational capability, operational planning, and the execution of business objectives. Utilizes a wide array of knowledge, technical skills, and critical-thinking abilities to facilitate Stryker Endoscopy’s OnSite business.
Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)
- Manages (directly) the Strategic Operations Associates. Duties include talent selection, performance management, and employee engagement and development.
- Responsible for directly managing and executing initiatives supporting operational growth and overall performance delivery of Stryker OnSite Services.
- Expeditiously resolves issues from the field in partnership with field leadership, sales teams, and customer.
- Develops and submits required reports and updates to business leaders specific to regional and national performance/activity.
- Partners with Strategic Operations Team in the planning and staffing of OnSite Assessments, Implementations, Quality Skills Assessments, and other field activities.
- Provide field support when required. Including but not limited to- OnSite Assessments, Implementations, Quality Skills Assessments, and other field activities i.e. coverage.
- Partners with Strategic Operations Manager in design of key performance objectives for employees that are aligned with the business mission and strategy.
- Responsible for execution against regional financial objectives, growth, costs, and overall P&L.
- Communicates injuries, reportable occurrences and performance feedback to Strategic Operations Manager.
- Adheres to all Stryker policies and procedures.
- Proactively contributes to national strategy development and takes ownership for execution of objectives.
- Employee has the necessary authority to execute above mentioned job responsibilities and will have the authority to carry out specific responsibilities defined by quality system documents. Employee has the authority to recommend and initiate preventative and corrective action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities.
Education & special trainings:
- B.A. or B.S. required or equivalent years of experience (12 years, 6 of which need to be relevant)
- 6+ years of work experience required.
- People leadership experience preferred.
- OnSite Operations background or operating room, surgical procedure and techniques preferred.
Qualifications & experience:
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment and critical thinking effectively.
- Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the printed word, product appearance, etc.).
- Must be able to explain and generate detailed guidelines and procedures.
- Demonstrates professional work ethic and attitude at all times.
- Must be able to effectively use computer programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).
- Must be able to generate and explain detailed forecasts, guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude required by Stryker and the medical facility.
- Adhere to (HIPAA) and other related patient confidentiality policies and procedures.
Physical & mental requirements:
- Ability to exert up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs of force to constantly move objects.
- Must have near visual acuity (corrected) color vision, mobility, bending, standing, stooping, and finger dexterity.
- Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the printed word, product appearance, etc.).
