Job Summary: The Associate Legal Operations Director will be responsible for supporting key strategic, organizational, and financial initiatives within IQVIA’s Global Legal Department. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can coordinate with various departments, manage financial forecasts, and optimize operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial:

  • Coordinate with finance on the development of budgets and analysis of departmental financial results, including compensation costs and outside counsel spend.
  • Support the General Counsel and key members of the Legal team in the preparation of financial forecasts.
  • Manage the e-billing system, including generating reports to facilitate the analysis of outside counsel spend.

Strategic/Operational:

  • Assist the Legal team in managing strategic relationships with outside counsel.
  • Support operational effectiveness initiatives in partnership with other IQVIA business functions, such as the performance optimization team.
  • Support the implementation of other departmental initiatives as needed.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of KPIs related to legal department performance.

Other:

  • Assist the General Counsel in the preparation of materials for Functional Review, executive leadership, and other management meetings.
  • Handle other special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal operations, financial management, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in e-billing systems and financial analysis tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $119,500.00 - $244,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
