Job Description:
The Global Client Group (GCG) is Dimensional's distribution arm, comprised of sales channels that target a diverse client set. By putting the client first, we strive to transform the way the world invests, and our solutions are testament to the value provided to our clients. Our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) is responsible for managing national home office relationships with large financial conglomerates across the country. Within FIG, the Insurance channel employs a specific focus on strategic insurance relationships and distribution partnerships.
A highly motivated individual Associate on the team will have the opportunity to learn about Dimensional’s investment solutions, participate in consultative sales activities, and gain a deep understanding of insurance products and the distribution business.
Responsibilities:
· Develop deep understanding of Dimensional investment solutions, advisor services, and strategic insurance client base
· Make proactive outbound sales calls to existing and prospective clients to strengthen and establish relationships and create opportunities
· Build strong relationships with partner firms’ internal wholesalers, providing ongoing client service and support through Dimensional updates, training, and content management
· Learn and leverage Dimensional’s suite of analytical, reporting, and relationship management tools
· Support and work closely with Dimensional Regional Directors in day-to-day client relationship management and sales/prospecting
· Utilize CRM and reporting tools to manage territory contacts and related sales activity and metrics
· Work closely with Dimensional’s Marketing department to manage all fund-related content specific to each insurance client, including performance reporting
· Generate a large volume of standard and custom weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to institutional clients, consultants and service providers
· Produce standard and bespoke presentation materials
· Some travel may be expected
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher
· 2-4 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
· Background in financial services, insurance industry background a plus
· Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Self-starter that is results driven to reach set activity goals on behalf of self and team
· Strong computer skills (Excel and Word) with the ability to learn programs as needed
· Solid quantitative problem-solving skills
· SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses are required and must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employment
