We are looking for an Associate Director, Payer Insights, Pricing & Forecasting to join Medison’s Market Research team (part of Medison’s BD & Corporate Strategy Division). This role will serve as the pricing analysis, payer and access insight focal point supporting BD evaluations through the development and consolidation of payer and access related perspectives.

Working closely with Business development, Market Access and Global Commercial teams the role will help to conduct and ensure that pricing analysis, payer insights and access considerations are translated into key forecast assumptions and thoughtful assessments across Medison’s Business Development evaluations.

This is a unique opportunity for a strategic professional to operate in a global, cross-functional environment, contributing to portfolio-shaping recommendations and engaging with senior leadership on key decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pricing analysis and provide a data-driven price recommendation to support models and forecasts
  • Serve as the primary point of expertise for payer and access insights within the business development market research team, supporting global evaluations of partnership opportunities
  • Develop and consolidate payer- and access-related perspectives to inform global business development evaluations, due diligence activities, and partnership decision-making
  • Integrate inputs from regional and global stakeholders into clear, consistent, and decision-relevant assessments
  • Lead payer research activities including defining objectives, guiding study design, and translating findings into strategic recommendations
  • Act as a key interface between Business development market research and the Market Access organization, ensuring alignment and effective translation of payer insights into senior-level strategic discussions.
Requirements
  • 7–12 years of market access relevant experience including pricing analysis, payer research and forecasting within pharma, biotech, or pharma directed consulting firmsAdvanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Health Economics, Public Health, Business, or a related field
  • Demonstrated successful track record in conducting pricing analysis
  • Demonstrated successful track record in conducting payer research, including defining objectives, guiding study design, and translating findings into clear, pragmatic insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Independently build and stress-test payer-, pricing-, and access-driven forecast scenarios, including cost-effectiveness considerations, to support global business cases and partnership evaluations.
  • Experience contributing payer- and access-informed inputs to commercial assessments, scenarios, and forecasts used in Business Development evaluations. Experience in international markets strongly preferred
  • Experience building cost-effectiveness models to inform payer and access assessments
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional and senior stakeholders
  • Collaborative and comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment, working closely with Market Access and commercial/regional teams
  • Strategic, structured thinker with sound judgment, comfortable operating with ambiguity and incomplete information
