Raytheon is seeking a dynamic leader to guide our Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MA&D) initiatives within our Digital Technologies (DT) team. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to lead critical projects that shape the future of our organization.

The Associate Director, Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MA&D) Support Lead will lead a matrixed team supporting Raytheon MA&D from DT (Digital Technologies). This includes leading the coordination and design of solutions for all DT deliverables (divestiture or integration), KPI’s, and pricing for transition service agreement (TSA) and TSA exit activities.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and Execute: Oversee MA&D activities related to Digital Technology and Enterprise Services, ensuring seamless transitions, integrations, and divestitures.

  • Collaborate and Coordinate: Work with Raytheon & Enterprise Services Digital domain leaders to develop and manage comprehensive workplans, budgets, and risk registers throughout the M&A lifecycle.

  • Pipeline Management: Handle the M&A process from due diligence to post-close integration and TSA exit, ensuring milestones are met and projects are successfully completed.

  • Strategic Communication: Develop and deliver communications to senior internal leaders and external stakeholders, including potential buyers and sellers, to support negotiations and align DT service requirements.

  • Team Leadership: Lead a matrixed team of program and project managers, driving collaboration across Raytheon DT service areas to ensure delivery of priority projects.

  • Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement of the Raytheon DT MA&D process, working with key stakeholders to implement innovative solutions.

  • Culture Champion: Promote a culture of innovation and engagement, driving transformation and focus on delivering exceptional results.

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience 

  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures – especially from a Digital/IT perspective

  • Project Management experience with in multiple areas of Digital Techology disciplines such as Applications, Cybersecurity, Data, End User, Infrastructures (Networks, Storage, Servers))

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in the Aerospace and Defense industry

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving large-scale projects.

  • Experience negotiating and managing contracts, particularly within the context of M&A activities.

  • Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
