Job Summary

The Structured Credit group within the Global Fixed Income Group is seeking an Investment Analyst.  The team is looking to hire an experienced CLO investment professional responsible for the investment in CLO tranches.  The position will be located in the Charlotte, NC office and report to the Head of the Structured Credit Team. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Full underwrite of CLOs including analysis of collateral manager, collateral, cash-flow modeling and document review
  • Assist senior members with portfolio management
  • Perform due diligence of collateral managers including in person meetings and calls on a regular basis
  • Assess relative value of CLO tranches
  • Make investment recommendations to the team
  • Perform on-going monitoring of CLO investments
  • Review of legal documentation for CLO investments for key terms and recommend stipulations as appropriate
  • Utilize our system skillfully to extract useful data including but not limited to underlying credit fundamentals, CLO trends, manager performance
  • Contribute to group discussion regarding CLO opportunities

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5-7 years minimum experience in either a CLO investment or structuring role
  • Proficiency using Excel and Intex is preferred
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced team environment
  • Multi-task and work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • CFA designation encouraged
  • Some travel will be required
