The Associate Customer Program Manager supports the execution and performance of customer-facing programs that advance Alto’s mission to improve patient outcomes through seamless, technology-enabled pharmacy care. This role acts as a key contributor within the Customer Programs team, helping ensure that program deliverables meet expectations, operational workflows run smoothly, and issues are escalated with clarity and urgency. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Engineering, and clinical partners, the Associate Program Manager ensures strong day-to-day coordination, contributes to program reporting, and supports the continuous improvement of our customer experience and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day execution of assigned customer programs, ensuring alignment with contractual, regulatory, and operational expectations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Product, Engineering, Care, Compliance) to ensure smooth delivery of program requirements.
  • Track program performance metrics and prepare recurring reports, surfacing trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and documentation for new or expanding programs.
  • Identify and escalate program risks or blockers, participating in solutions that protect service quality and patient experience.
  • Maintain clear communication channels with internal teams and external partners as directed by senior program leadership.
  • Support process improvements by documenting workflows, gathering requirements, and participating in retrospective reviews.
  • Ensure program documentation, SOPs, and trackers remain accurate and up to date.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in program coordination, operations, project management, or customer success—preferably within healthcare, pharmacy, or a regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with operational workflows, performance metrics, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tools such as GSuite, Slack, project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Jira), and spreadsheets.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and adapting to evolving business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharmacy operations, digital health, or healthcare services.
  • Exposure to program or project management methodologies; CAPM or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting client-facing or operational programs in a service-delivery environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to pharmacy or healthcare operations.

Benefits: 

The compensation range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, in addition we offer a range of benefits including: 

Full-time employee benefits include: dental, vision, and multiple group medical plans to choose from, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, group life insurance, (AD&D) insurance, flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA), commuter benefits, employer-paid short-term (STD) and long-term disability (LTD) insurance, and additional supplemental insurance plans (spouse life insurance, legal insurance, an employee assistance program, home health testing kits, and a fertility medication discount program). Employees are also provided flexible vacation time, accrued paid sick time, 10 paid holidays, (2 floating holidays for full time non-exempt employees) , and up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave for a birthing parent, and up to 8 weeks of paid bonding leave for non-birthing parents, and up to 12 weeks of family caregiver leave, including 4 paid, to support care for a family member, and a Lifestyle Spending Account allowance each month.
