Our Mission

At Owlet, our mission is to empower parents with the right information at the right time, giving them more peace of mind and more sleep. We believe that every parent deserves to feel confident in their journey, and every baby deserves the best care possible. To achieve this, our internal teams need seamless, automated, and efficient systems. That’s where you come in.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Associate Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This is a unique "utility player" role designed for someone early in their career who loves logic, problem-solving, and making systems talk to each other.

In this role, you won't just be maintaining software; you’ll be building the workflows that keep our business moving. You will spend your time mastering Jira automation, supporting our core business platforms, and ensuring our integrations (via Workato) are running smoothly. This role is a high-growth track—you will work directly under our Senior Business System Admin and Integrations Specialist, with the goal of eventually stepping into a specialist role yourself.

Your Impact (40/30/30)

Your time will be balanced across three key pillars of our technical ecosystem:

  • 40% Jira Automation & Workflow Architecture: You will be our Jira champion. You'll build out custom automations, design sophisticated workflows, and improve system configurations to make sure our teams are working at peak efficiency.
  • 30% Business System Administration: You’ll be the right hand to our System Admin. This includes managing user access and provisioning, ensuring security compliance, and pulling critical reports from our key business systems.
  • 30% Company Integrations & Monitoring: You will help maintain the "connective tissue" of Owlet. You’ll work with our Integration Specialist to  monitor our Workato integration recipes, identify errors, and perform the technical troubleshooting needed to keep data flowing between our apps.
Your Day-to-Day
  • Design and implement no-code automation rules in Jira to streamline project management for various departments.
  • Monitor Workato integration logs daily, proactively correcting errors and ensuring data integrity across our tech stack.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding process by handling user access and permissions for our core software platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and generate insightful reports from our business systems.
  • Identify opportunities to "clean up" system configurations, removing technical debt and improving the user experience for Owlet employees.
  • Assist in documentation of system processes and integration maps.

RequirementsWhat You Bring
  • Logic-First Mindset: You enjoy "If/Then" logic. Whether it's a spreadsheet formula or a Jira trigger, you love figuring out how to automate a manual process.
  • System Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an IT or Operations environment. Exposure to Jira (Administrator side), Orderful EDI, and any integration platform (Workato, Zapier, Tray.io) is a massive plus.
  • Detail Oriented: You’re the type of person who notices a failed sync or a typo in a permission set before anyone else does.
  • Technical Curiosity: You aren't a software engineer, but you aren't afraid of technical settings. You are comfortable with "No-Code" building and have a desire to learn how APIs and data mapping work.
  • Communication Skills: You can translate a "business problem" from a non-technical coworker into a "system solution."
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Benefits

Owlet offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance:

  • Health & Wellness: Multiple medical plan options (PPO and High-Deductible with HSA), plus dental, vision, life, and disability coverage. Wellness resources include mental health support, EAP access, and fitness incentives.
  • Financial Benefits: A competitive 401(k) plan with company match, employee stock purchase program, and potential equity grants.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous flexible PTO policy, including Flex Fridays, paid parental leave (up to 14 weeks), and remote/hybrid work options.

Owlet Baby Care, Inc. is the equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
