What you'll be doing.
- Support portfolio, brand, and private label strategies, ensuring clear and differentiated positioning across the portfolio.
- Partner closely with Insights, Innovation, and Go-to-Market teams to identify growth opportunities and translate consumer and market insights into actionable business strategies.
- Support Sales and Go-to-Market teams in identifying customer opportunities, commercializing products, delivering customer solutions, and supporting successful customer bids.
- Play a key role in the Annual Operating Cycle (AOC) planning process, helping drive innovation, base business growth initiatives, and category expansion opportunities.
- Monitor, analyze, and report portfolio and category performance, identifying opportunities to improve customer, commercial, and category results.
- Own U.S. Retail budget management, including forecasting, monthly tracking, reconciliation, and reporting to Finance and Marketing leadership.
- Support innovation strategy execution, including line extensions, renovations, and commercialization activities.
- Contribute to portfolio architecture, pricing, and positioning strategies to maximize growth and profitability.
- Partner with Media and Shopper Marketing teams to support customer marketing programs, social campaigns, and consumer communications.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams to successfully deliver business objectives, strategic initiatives, and brand growth plans.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Marketing or Brand Management experience with P&L ownership within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) food industry.
- Experience developing marketing strategies and executing brand, category, or portfolio growth initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing business performance, financial results, and portfolio profitability.
- Experience deriving insights from primary consumer research, syndicated data, and market intelligence.
- Demonstrated ability to translate consumer and business insights into actionable strategies and growth plans.
- Proven success leading and influencing cross-functional teams and building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of retail marketing principles, portfolio management, and product commercialization processes.
- Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments with a high degree of accountability and ownership.
