Starface is seeking an Associate Art Director, Concept to join our Creative team and help shape the future of how our brand comes to life across social, campaigns, collaborations, and emerging platforms. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the social and creative teams to concept, create, and execute bold, culture-forward content that feels distinctly Starface. You’ll report directly to our Creative Director, Concept, and collaborate across teams to bring fresh ideas into the world quickly and beautifully.
The right person for this role is deeply tuned into culture and internet behavior, has a strong visual POV, and thrives in fast-moving creative environments. They’re independently creative, detail-oriented, and versatile enough to wear many hats while maintaining a high bar for execution.

we’ll count on you toConcept Development & Creative Direction- Concept creative campaigns, social-first content, and product concepts that feel fresh, unexpected, and on-brand.
- Lead smaller-scale creative projects from concept through final execution with increasing autonomy.
- Bring thoughtful references, fresh inspiration, and a strong creative POV to the table consistently. Stay tapped into internet culture, fashion, beauty, entertainment, and emerging creative trends.
- Support photo and video shoots from pre-production through post-production, including on set direction, shotlists, creative briefs, retouching notes, and crop guidelines.
- Produce high-quality assets with strong attention to craft and detail.
- Brief and provide creative feedback to internal and external collaborators as needed (creators, photographers, stylists, etc).
- Jump into content creation as needed - solving creative problems in real time — whether that means shooting photo/video, designing, editing, or animating.
- Contribute meaningfully to brainstorms and collaborative creative workstreams.
- Partner closely with social, design, copy, brand marketing, and creative production to ensure cohesive storytelling and execution across touchpoints.
- Present creative ideas clearly and confidently to stakeholders, building and maintaining organized up-to-date creative decks.
- Manage timelines, feedback, and shifting priorities while maintaining a positive and solutions-oriented attitude.
- You have 3+ years of experience in art direction, graphic design, content creation, or creative production within beauty, fashion, media, agency, or culture-driven brands
- You have a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional taste, concepting ability, and high-quality execution across visual systems, campaigns, social content, and video
- You’re equally comfortable ideating and executing—you can think big conceptually while also being hands-on in the work
- You’re highly proficient in content tools like Keynote and Google Slides, as well as Adobe Creative Suite — especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects — and comfortable working in Figma and modern content creation/editing workflows
- You’re scrappy, adaptable, and energized by wearing multiple creative hats
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and can pivot quickly while staying detail-oriented and organized
- You’re a collaborative creative partner who communicates proactively and works well cross-functionally
- You’re independently motivated and capable of owning projects with minimal oversight
- You have strong instincts for culture, aesthetics, and storytelling
- You’re excited by experimentation and unafraid to push creative boundaries
- You’re eager to learn, contribute, and help shape the future of the Starface brand
- The compensation range for this role is a $75,000-$90,000 base depending on level of experience, as well as bonus eligibility.
