YOU SET THE STANDARD
The Associate Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth within their existing book of business by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities that expand the client partnership. This role combines strategic account management with proactive sales execution ensuring each client realizes the full potential of CTC’s services while the Associate Account Executive meets or exceeds defined monthly and quarterly upsell targets. Success in this role is measured by the ability to deepen client engagement, increase total account value, and consistently uncover new ways for CTC to deliver measurable business impact. The Associate Account Executive will:
- Deliver on Revenue Accountability: Consistently meet or exceed upsell and renewal targets, contributing to both individual and company wide revenue objectives.
- Own the Upsell Pipeline: Maintain an active pipeline of expansion opportunities across the assigned client portfolio, accurately forecasting revenue and tracking progress toward monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Identify Growth Opportunities: Analyze account performance, client objectives, and market trends to pinpoint where CTC’s additional offerings (such as new channels, creative solutions, or strategic programs) can drive incremental ROI.
- Collaborate Cross Functionally: Partner with internal teams (Growth Strategy, Creative, and Email) to design and deliver data driven proposals that align client growth goals with CTC’s service capabilities.
- Lead Strategic Conversations: Communicate new strategies, present performance insights, and position upsell opportunities as natural extensions of client success.

- Sales Enablement & Automation Tools: Comfortable utilizing tools (like Gong, Hubspot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to streamline prospecting, personalize outreach, and enhance conversion rates through data-backed engagement.
- eCommerce Data Fluency: Experienced in using eCommerce and performance analytics tools such as Shopify, Triple Whale, Google Analytics, and Statlas to assess client performance, identify growth opportunities, and align sales strategies with measurable business outcomes.
- Paid Media Platform Familiarity: Working knowledge of key digital advertising platforms including Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, and YouTube Ads, with the ability to interpret campaign metrics, understand acquisition economics, and communicate ROI-driven value propositions.
- Proposal & Contract Systems: Proficient in using platforms such as ShareFile or Google Workspace for proposal creation, legal documentation, and efficient deal execution.

MANAGEMENT
- This role reports directly to the VP of Client Service, with a focus on managing relationships and expanding contract value within a defined book of CTC clients.
ORIENTATION
- This role is primarily client-facing, responsible for developing strong relationships with key brand stakeholders and serving as their trusted partner. The Associate Account Executive will collaborate closely with internal service teams to ensure every engagement is delivered efficiently, seamlessly, and with exceptional quality.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?
SALARY RANGE
- $60,000 to $70,000 base salary, annually

- Bonus | $65k in annual bonus ($130k OTE) based on individual upsell and client retention performance attainment
