As an Associate Account Executive, you will support the sales team in driving growth for our solutions. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with experience in sales development, customer success, or related fields who are looking to advance their career in sales. You will assist in building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, and contributing to revenue growth. The territory for this role is Texas or Oklahoma, it not required but preferred the person resides in the territory.

The impact you'll have:

  • Develop a foundational understanding of K-12 buying personas and motivations, learning to tailor communication styles to match the needs of specific personas (Superintendents, CIOs, CFOs, CAOs, etc.).
  • Assist in building and maintaining a new sales pipeline by targeting, identifying, and qualifying new sales opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts to drive additional value for clients.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams to ensure seamless transitions and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Manage pipeline activities with precision, including accurate forecasting and reporting in Salesforce CRM.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, providing accurate quotes and contracts for new sales and guiding them through the decision-making process.
  • Customize sales positioning and product demonstrations to address the unique needs and challenges of each prospect.
  • Participate in client meetings and industry events as necessary to represent the company and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Support the achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets for new business, contributing to the success of the organization.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in sales development, customer success, or related roles.
  • Basic understanding of K-12 education technology sales is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM systems.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High personal integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

This role is base (shared below) + commission. 

U.S. Pay Range
$80,000$95,000 USD

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate, and is provided pursuant to Equal Pay Laws. SchoolStatus intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, such as experience. Our team will provide more information about the total compensation package for this position during the interview process.
