The Associate Account Executive, Renewals will manage a growing book of renewal business within their region. They will have a focus on our retail distribution channel, as well as supporting other team members working our wholesale and alternative distribution channels. They will nurture relationships with agents and brokers to ensure Cowbell remains their number one option for clients. They are able to identify and overcome obstacles and challenges, identify opportunities for further growth, and create awareness of Cowbell’s key strategic advantages.

What you will do:

  • Nurture and maintain relationships with agents and brokers trading with Cowbell, working with agents across Cowbell’s distribution network. 
  • Develop a strategy for proactively ensuring renewal business remains with Cowbell. 
  • Become a cyber expert, validating our partner agencies’ trust in Cowbell. 
  • Be a knowledgeable user of Cowbell’s platform and technology, and help explain our technical process to agents and brokers. 
  • Be the first point of contact, capable of communicating Cowbell’s value proposition to key stakeholders and team members working with our small business unit. 
  • Meet and manage weekly, monthly, and annual activity metrics.
  • Collaborate with a passionate team, as well as with colleagues across the sales function. 
  • Be a point of accountability for retention success.
  • Have fun, grow, learn, and teach the company along the way.

What Cowbell needs from you:

  • At least one year of insurance experience in an account management or business development function, preferably with a wholesaler, MGA, or carrier.
  • Cyber Insurance experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of nurturing and expanding existing relationships. 
  • Cyber knowledge or willingness to learn quickly.
