As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an Associate Director to join our Technology team. In this role, you’ll oversee and guide the application development team, ensuring key projects are delivered efficiently—on time, within budget, and in alignment with our broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing software engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Drive performance management, including goal-setting, regular feedback, coaching, and career development to ensure individual and team success.
Set a high technical and delivery bar, modeling engineering best practices and ensuring teams consistently meet quality, reliability, and operational expectations.
Guide teams in making sound technical decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with long-term strategy.
Oversee project planning and execution, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery of multiple complex initiatives.
Define and maintain architectural standards, ensuring product architectures remain robust, scalable, and aligned with enterprise guidelines.
Cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and effective communication across product, architecture, operations, and business teams.
Champion engineering operational excellence, including observability, automation, CI/CD practices, reliability, and performance improvements.
Promote a DevOps and cloud-first mindset, ensuring teams fully leverage modern engineering practices and cloud-native capabilities.
In this role, you’ll bring:
Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously while balancing priorities effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience guiding large-scale, complex systems from concept through execution and delivery.
An analytical, data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
A proactive mindset, consistently meeting deadlines and achieving high performance standards.
Strong technical acumen with an ability to evaluate and select the right technologies, patterns, and architectural approaches.
A track record of iterating on engineering challenges to deliver scalable, impactful solutions.
Passion for continuous learning, staying informed on emerging technologies, modern architectures, and industry trends.
Comfort navigating ambiguity, identifying patterns, and translating them into actionable strategies.
Cloud expertise—especially with AWS—and familiarity with cloud-native architectures and services.
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
8+ years of leadership experience in managing technical teams.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software engineering practices, and quality engineering techniques.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience with technologies like Domain Gateway, GraphQL, Angular, Node.JS, Type Script, Micro Front End, Mosaic and AWS managed services
Experience building consumer facing mobile and web applications.
