About This Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a seasoned Assistant General Counsel, Legal Shared Services to lead the next evolution of how legal services are delivered at scale. This role blends strategic vision, operational rigor, and hands-on leadership — driving process excellence, AI-enabled automation, and system integration across the global legal department.

As AGC of Legal Shared Services, you will define how CrowdStrike’s legal department scales — transforming complex processes into seamless, data-driven, and AI-enhanced systems. You’ll empower attorneys and business teams to focus on high-value work while ensuring operational precision, visibility, and speed.

The ideal candidate is a builder and connector — comfortable designing workflows in ServiceNow or Salesforce, reviewing metrics dashboards, coaching remote teams, and translating complexity into simple, repeatable, and measurable systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Architect, implement, and continuously improve legal service delivery infrastructure across ServiceNow, Salesforce, and related platforms.

  • Develop and maintain intake, triage, and workflow automation for commercial, compliance, marketing, product, and corporate legal support.

  • Lead the integration of CLM, contract intelligence, and matter management systems into a unified service experience.

  • Ensure legal tools and processes align with enterprise IT, security, and data governance standards.

  • Provide enterprise-level legal oversight and strategic counsel across all business functions—driving alignment, anticipating risk, and ensuring clarity, cohesion, and disciplined execution of organizational priorities.

  • Oversee a remote team responsible for AI-driven workflow build, maintenance, and optimization.

  • Supervise data analytics, dashboarding, and insights to measure throughput, SLA adherence, and operational performance.

  • Lead deployment of agentic legal workflows and assist with prompt engineering, model testing, and performance monitoring for AI-enabled legal tasks.

  • Partner with internal data and AI engineering teams to pilot new automation and intelligence use cases.

  • Map, document, and continuously refine legal processes — intake to delivery — ensuring scalability, consistency, and measurable results.

  • Champion change management, training, and adoption of new systems and tools across the legal department.

  • Ensure strong controls for auditability, compliance, and knowledge retention.

  • Be the constant: a trusted anchor through growth, change, and high-volume demand.

  • Collaborate closely with Legal Operations, IT, Security, and Finance to align on systems, budgets, and priorities.

  • Serve as primary liaison between Legal and enterprise shared services (ITSM, CRM, GRC, and AI Ops teams).

  • Maintain visibility across all legal service streams — connecting silos, mitigating risk, and ensuring continuity through growth and change.

  • Support vendor selection, negotiation, and lifecycle management for legal technology solutions.

  • Lead and mentor a distributed team of legal professionals and technologists.

  • Build a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, service excellence, and innovation.

  • Preserve institutional memory and provide continuity through personnel changes and scaling demands.

What You’ll Need:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.

  • 10+ years of legal experience (law firm and/or in-house), ideally within multi-location, high-demand industries, technology, SaaS, or AI-driven environments.

  • Experience managing remote teams and multi-system implementations.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to synthesize metrics into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.

  • Skilled at translating legal and operational complexity into simple, actionable solutions.

  • Experience with AI/ML-based legal tools, CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad, Icertis, Conga), and data analytics platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).

  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or Design Thinking methodologies.

  • Prior leadership experience in a Legal Shared Services or Legal Operations function within a high-growth tech company.

  • Understanding of global contracting, data privacy, and compliance issues.

  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in legal delivery models.
