PURPOSE:

Pfeiffer University, a small private liberal arts institution committed to purpose-driven education and career readiness, invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Business Management and Leadership. The faculty member will teach up to 26 IU’s during the academic year in the program of Business Management and Leadership.


Full-time, 9-month position


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The faculty member will teach up to 26 IU’s during the academic year
  • Teach courses within the Business Management and Leadership program and in other areas as credentialed and needed.
  • Advise students within the Business Management and Leadership Program.  
  • Work in collaboration with business department program coordinator to execute various activities within the program including but not limited to: course schedule, program assessment, campus activities related to the program, ACBSP accreditation, community outreach and grants.  
  • The faculty member is required to carry out all of the responsibilities described within the faculty handbook.  
Qualifications

Masters degree, Doctorate preferred, in Business Management and Leadership or related field (marketing, finance/economics…) earned from a regionally accredited insitution.  Evidence of successful teaching in higher education.
