Drive the future of Asset Management by leading the product vision for Spectrum-our cutting-edge technology platform-where your expertise and leadership will shape solutions, influence strategy, and make a lasting impact across the organization.
As a Product Manager within Asset Management you will lead the product team responsible for shaping and advancing "Spectrum", our common technology platform for Asset Management's investment and client services lifecycle. You will collaborate with product managers, user experience designers, end users, and technologists across Asset Management to define and implement capabilities that serve the majority of our users. This position offers significant exposure to key challenges, strategic initiatives, and senior decision-makers, with opportunities for influence and impact based on your expertise and leadership.
Job responsibilities
  • Own and drive the platform's strategic vision, aligning capabilities with business goals and advocating for the product at the executive level
  • Partner with product owners, designers, users, and technologists to prioritize and develop new platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with key metrics
  • Represent the customer's voice in an agile environment, defining and communicating product vision, strategy, and requirements
  • Establish and manage product governance, maintain stakeholder communication, and deliver executive briefings and training
  • Integrate advanced analytics to enable data-driven decision-making and enhance product development
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to set platform standards and drive innovation through new technologies
  • Mentor product team members, foster collaboration, and lead change initiatives to manage risks and ensure platform stability

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Proven track record being a hands-on product owner with a strong foundation for understanding technology - both in terms of how to leverage in your day-to-day responsibilities and ability to closely work with your developers on product capabilities. E.g., Use technology tools to perform data / process analysis or understanding technical limitations of delivering a particular user experience
  • Strong foundation in technology and analytics, with the ability to leverage these skills in strategic decision-making and product development
  • Ability to establish and communicate a strategic vision for the platform, pushing past traditional boundaries to innovate and solve complex business challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and partner with senior executives and cross-functional teams. Skilled in conflict resolution and facilitating strategic decision-making
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong desire to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and product management techniques
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and market trends to inform product strategy and ensure competitive advantage

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Knowledge and experience in Asset Management is highly desirable, with the ability to quickly adapt to new subject areas
