As a key member of our expanding marketing team, we're looking for a seasoned Art Director, with a heavy focus on creating eye-catching social-first content that attracts, engages, and converts.


Who We're Looking For 

As Adoreal's first Art Director, you'll act as the visual architect for each of our practice's brands. As part of our strategic approach to partnership across web, social, PPC, and other channels, your keen eye and ability to execute stunning creative will guide a portfolio of global plastic surgery practices.

We're looking for an Art Director with 5-8+ years of experience in the social media space. You will act as our team's visual eye, ideating and executing high-quality visual content. Your keen sense for high-performing content and always-on approach to trends and industry best practices will elevate our entire portfolio.

As a team lead, you'll guide and mentor a team of creatives (videographers, editors, designers, photographers) and set the aesthetic bar to ensure all content is optimized for resonance and performance.

Responsibilites

Lead Visual Strategy & Concepting

  • In collaboration with our Head of Marketing, develop and pitch breakthrough creative concepts and visual directions for eye-catching, high-performing content and campaigns
  • Work hand-in-hand with team leads and strategists to define visual strategies for each practice, with a heavy focus on social media content
  • Partner with designers to create mood boards & style guides aligned with each practice's personality & objectives
  • Develop storyboards to guide content collection
  • Art direct photo and video shoots, managing creative talent to ensure content meets our high creative bar and quality standards
  • Work with the broader team to understand performance data and audience insights to steer smart creative choices

Drive Adoreal's Standards for Creative Excellence & Quality

  • Lead and mentor a team of videographers, editors, designers, photographers, and other creatives, providing guidance, timely and clear feedback, and developing skillsets
  • Set the tone for, guide, review, and approve all creative assets at all stages—particularly for social media—ensuring all content is on-brand, high-impact, and meets our standards for quality
  • Oversee all practice partnerships to ensure visual consistency from project concept, through completion, and ongoing

Innovate & Scale Visual Capabilities

  • Stay ahead of the curve on trends across platforms (web, Meta, TikTok, YouTube), new formats, and design techniques
  • Encourage process optimization and automation within the design team
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and automate creative systems, templates, and workflows that allow us to scale quality at high velocity

RequirementsRequirements

Proven Creative Eye & Expertise

  • 5-8+ years of experience in art direction or a senior-level creative role, preferably in an agency setting, with healthcare experience a bonus
  • A visually-stunning portfolio showcasing high-performance campaigns and creative across web, social, and PPC, showing strong conceptual thinking and storytelling ability—and the metrics to prove your impact
  • Attention to detail

  • Visual ideation, guidance, and execution rooted in strategic thinking, best practices, and a consumer-first mentality
  • Adapt at building repeatable creative systems and managing multiple, high-demand projects at once, actively delegating responsibilities to your team to meet or beat deadlines

Confident Communicator & Self-Starter

  • Comfort articulating visual ideas to internal teams and collaborative practice partners
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to act and follow through on projects independently, and encourage independent thinking by your team

Social Media-Obsessed and Trend Savvy

  • On the pulse of what's trending on social media
  • An expert in content that continually resonates and performs across platforms
  • Comfortable guiding and executing tasks across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube
  • Distill platform metrics to guide creative decisions instead of acting on a hunch
  • Instinct for relatable, insight-driven content

Additional Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Expert knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, emerging design & motion tools, AI technologies
