The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Application Engineering Manager, you will join a high-performance team supporting the sales, development, and delivery objectives of the Solventum HIS portfolio of solutions. You will help transform health care from a system that treats disease to one that improves health and wellness, working with the best and brightest to advance your career and the entire world.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a team of highly skilled engineers responsible for sales and solution support including design, development, and implementation of application solutions to meet client needs and business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of application projects and daily production goals.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the application engineering team, ensuring best practices, policies, and standards are followed.
Identify and communicate gaps in the product portfolio to the product development and security teams, work to educate impacted teams and close identified gaps.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and 8 years of experience in Information Technology
OR
High School Diploma/GED and 12 yrs years of experience in Information Technology in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education requirement.
Minimum of five (5) years of technical experience in the healthcare industry supporting clinical or revenue cycle solutions in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with complex software solutions (licensing, deployment, management, support).
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Health Care Technical Sales experience in clinical or financial services or healthcare information technology management experience - Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
Ability to clearly understand and articulate technical and business topics to clients of various technical skills in written, oral, or presentation forms.
Excellent presentation skills and experience selling and developing relationships with technical leadership in the healthcare sector. Experience with large IDNs preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Deep technical understanding of state-of-the-art data center and cloud technologies (e.g., networking protocols/routing/switching, firewalls/VPN/Load balancers, storage area networks, availability and disaster recovery solutions, virtualization, HTML5, certificate services, IIS, Apache, and Internet Explorer/Edge deployment and management).
Comprehensive understanding of security requirements associated with emerging standards (including HIPAA, ARRA, Safe Harbor, and PCI).

Travel: May include up to 60% Domestically, 10% Internationally

Applies to new hires with a start date of October 1st 2025 or later.Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
