Job DescriptionGeneral Responsibilities:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Web Application Developer to join our Enterprise Application Development team. In this role, you will work alongside architects and senior developers to build, enhance, and support consumer-facing websites like our Borrower Portal, as well as internal web applications. This is a full-stack development role with a focus on .NET, C#, and Azure web services.
Primary Job Duties:
- Develop responsive and secure web applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Support development of the Borrower Portal and internal business applications under the direction of senior team members.
- Implement UI components, API integrations, and backend logic.
- Collaborate with designers and product owners to translate user requirements into functional web solutions.
- Write clean, testable code and participate in peer reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
- Participate in application deployments and assist with DevOps tasks as needed.
- Maintain documentation for technical specifications and user support.
- Follow best practices for security, coding standards, and version control.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in web development using .NET and C#.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end libraries (e.g., React, Angular, or similar).
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and consuming external web services.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and writing T-SQL queries.
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Basic knowledge of Azure services such as App Services and Key Vault.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as Umbraco.
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control systems.
- Exposure to secure coding principles and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Experience in financial services or consumer-facing web applications.
