Job Description

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 2 years of experience in implementing, monitoring, and enhancing Delmia Apriso software systems within a home appliance factory setting.
  • Must have experience in:
    • Managing Delmia Apriso application module implementations including, DELMIA Process Builder, and Global Process management, to enhance assembly line, technology, and logistics capabilities within a home appliance manufacturing factory.
    • Monitoring machines, production lines, and manufacturing processes across factories utilizing DELMIA Apriso or Oracle data from PLC, ERP and MES.
    • Diagnosing production issues, performing root cause analysis and providing effective resolutions.
    • Utilizing HTML, javascript frameworks, .NET and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) development languages to expand and modify cloud-based factory software applications.
    • 30% international and/or domestic travel required.
    • 24/7 on call support required.

Job Duties:

  • Analyze engineering, business, and manufacturing data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex business concerns, system administration issues, or network concerns.
  • Implement, monitor, and enhance manufacturing and logistics execution software systems within a home appliance factory setting.
  • Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared.
  • Support and maintain stability of Delmia Apriso application to support production goals. Manage Delmia Apriso application module implementations including, DELMIA Process Builder, and Global Process management, to enhance assembly line, technology, and logistics capabilities within a home appliance manufacturing factory.
  • Expand, upgrade, and modify DELMIA Apriso software system to serve new purposes and improve process workflows.
  • Utilizing HTML, javascript frameworks, .NET and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) development languages to expand and modify cloud-based factory software applications.
  • Responsible for the configuration of DELMIA Apriso software, including process authoring, development and testing of configured extensions.
  • Interpret business needs and provide functional solutions using DELMIA Apriso and Machine Integrator (MI) configuration.
  • Define the goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs.
  • Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.
  • Use the computer in the analysis and solution of business problems, such as development of integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems.
  • Monitor machines and production lines across multiple factories utilizing DELMIA Apriso computer system data from PLC, ERP and MES to system health check and anticipate possible problems or failures.
  • Diagnose production issues, performing root cause analysis and providing effective resolutions.  
  • Define areas of analysis based on project scope and configure process data guidelines and business demands into system.
  • Create data collection reports using SQL/SSRS.
  • Work closely with business and other technical teams in the resolution of issues and delivery of enhancements for the current or new process implementation.
  • Reproduce and resolve incidents reported by the customers.
  • Support Application test activities phase as a result of server, operating system, and application upgrades for all Apriso Installed module, even customized, for all factories.
  • Configure required interfaces to integrate external systems and hardware. Monitor machines, production lines, and manufacturing processes across factories utilizing DELMIA Apriso or Oracle data from PLC, ERP and MES.
  • Interview or survey workers, observe job performance, or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed.
  • Travel required: 30% of the time needs to be spent on factories in USA and Mexico during the duration of the implementation periods.
  • On Call 24/7 for support and technical assistance.
  • Train other analysts in all factories on systems and processes.
