Our Mobile team builds the products and experiences that power Dropbox on Android, helping millions of users stay productive wherever they are. We’re expanding our global footprint, and this role will focus on creating and optimizing Android features tailored to the needs of international users. You’ll help make Dropbox more accessible, intuitive, and high-performing across diverse markets and devices. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the product direction, work across the full Android stack, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver impact at global scale.

ResponsibilitiesBuild and optimize Android features that enable seamless collaboration, sharing, and content management experiences for users around the world.
Drive international growth by improving performance, accessibility, and usability across different regions, devices, and network conditions.
Localize and tailor product experiences to meet regional user needs, including language, design, and workflow adaptations.
Enhance the Android codebase, addressing foundational challenges and contributing to architecture improvements that support scale and reliability.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other teams to define and deliver new features that expand Dropbox’s impact in global markets.
Champion Android best practices and ensure a high-quality, maintainable, and performant codebase.
On-call work may be necessary occasionally to help address bugs, outages, or other operational issues, with the goal of maintaining a stable and high-quality experience for our customers.
RequirementsBS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience
2+ years of professional software development experience
Strong engineering skills and software fundamentals in developing for Android
Experience working in large code bases with significant complexity
A passion for building consumer applications with elegant and clean interfaces
Experience developing, testing, shipping and supporting a product for hundreds of thousands of users is a plus
Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional groups
