We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and innovative mobile applications for Android devices. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. 

We support various industries including Conservation, Healthcare and supply chain organizations. Working at Nimble Gravity, you can be on the ground floor in designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge products that will have a global impact.  


What You’ll Do:

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. 
  • Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks. 
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. 
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. 
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. 

What You’ll Bring: 
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Android development. 
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java. 
  • Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. 
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services. 
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. 
  • Knowledge of modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture). 
  • Experience with version control tools like Git. 
  • Familiarity with Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines. 
  • Desired experience with third-party libraries and APIs. 
  • Desired experience with Jetpack Compose. 
  • Desired familiarity with CI/CD tools. 
  • Desired experience publishing apps to the Google Play Store. 
  • Desired understanding of Agile development methodologies.
