What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure using AWS Services, MWAA Airflow, Snowflake, GIT and Azure DevOps CD-CI pipelines.
- Work with other team members to ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of our data systems
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices related to data engineering and related technologies
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with data pipelines and systems
- Write and maintain technical documentation for data engineering processes and systems
What You Will Have:
- Analytical Thinking: Working knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Query and Database Access Tools: Working knowledge of data management systems; ability to use, support and access facilities for searching, extracting and formatting data for further use.
- Requirements Analysis: Working knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Considerations for Top Candidates:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Working experience applying SQL and Python (NumPy, SciPy, pandas, etc.) programming to solve business challenges.
- Working knowledge with cloud technologies (AWS, MWAA Airflow, S3, EC2, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git Actions, or equivalent)
- Experience with data structure (JSON, XML, or equivalent)
- Experience with automated testing (Regression tests)
- In-depth technical and problem-solving skills and evidence of continuous learning in the analytics field
- Working experience with version control / repositories such as GitHub
- Experience operating in an Agile environment
- Must demonstrate strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
