The Analyst, Revenue Strategy will serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Sales Leadership, and Senior Management across Digital, Print, and Agency revenue channels. This role delivers data-driven insights to inform decision-making, drive revenue growth, and enhance operational efficiency.
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

The Revenue Strategy team is a dynamic group of 15 individuals based across New York City, Des Moines, and remote locations. We specialize in turning complex data into clear, compelling narratives—particularly in support of Sales Leadership and revenue planning. Reporting & Forecasting:
Provide timely daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on pacing, forecasting, and revenue trends. Communicate insights to Sales and Senior Leadership to support data-informed strategy.Strategic Planning:
Support annual planning processes including account allocation, regional alignment, and revenue goal setting to optimize sales team structure and performance.RFP & Pipeline Insights:
Analyze RFP activity within designated sales verticals to track volume, revenue trends, seasonality, and advertiser needs (e.g., products, data, site alignment, KPIs).

Win/Loss Analysis:
Develop methodologies to track qualitative deal outcomes. Lead analysis of win rates and sell-through metrics to identify high-performing ad solutions.Revenue Projections:
Deliver consistent projection reports by site, advertiser, and transaction type to inform sales leadership and financial planning.

Data Infrastructure & Visualization:
Partner with the Digital Sales Systems team to build and maintain dashboards, daily snapshots, and automated reporting with validated data sources.

Performance Consolidation:
Create templates and tools that unify sales performance and revenue outlook into a cohesive macro-level view.Market Intelligence:
Conduct ongoing competitive analysis using internal and syndicated data to identify revenue opportunities and support sales enablement.
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience required.
Experience:
0-2 years’ experience in an analytics or role within digital advertising, media, marketing, finance, or ad tech.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
Understanding of data and mechanisms through which data is collected and shared
Excellent analytical skills – Expertise in Excel & pivot tables
Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM tools and related sales systems (Boostr, GAM, Operative, etc.)
Familiarity using data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Sisense, etc., is a plus
Comfortability with G–Suite (gmail, sheets, slides, etc.)
Passion for analyzing data and telling a holistic story for internal stakeholders
Ability to understand business data needs and translate into reporting requirements in a fast-paced environment
Capable of identifying opportunities to streamline and develop efficiencies in current processes
Attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $64,350.00 - $75,000.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
