What is The Role:
Elastic is looking for a strategic Analyst Relations (AR) Manager to elevate Elastic’s visibility and influence in the market through high-impact analyst engagements. You’ll partner with product marketing, product management, and executive leadership to drive AR strategy across our key solution areas — including Observability, Security, and Search. You’ll own relationships with industry analysts, lead major evaluation cycles (like MQs, Waves, and MarketScapes), and help craft how Elastic is perceived in an evolving market.
This is a highly visible and cross-functional role reporting to the Director of Analyst Relations. We’re looking for someone with confirmed experience in B2B technology (preferably observability, security, or GenAI), who prospers in a fast-paced, distributed environment and is passionate about crafting market narratives.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead Elastic’s participation in analyst evaluations, including Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves, IDC MarketScapes, and other influential reports
- Build, cultivate, and be an excellent partner with key industry analysts across firms like Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and leading Tier 2 and independent firms
- Plan and implement strategic engagement programs — briefings, inquiries, roundtables, and events — to ensure consistent and differentiated positioning
- Act as a trusted advisor and connector between internal teams and external analysts
- Partner closely with product, marketing, and executive teams to align messaging and surface analyst insights to influence GTM strategy
- Proactively own the competitive landscape and analyst research to identify positioning opportunities and mitigate risks
- Track AR impact through internal feedback, sentiment analysis, and engagement metrics — and share those insights broadly to inform decision-making
- Support and grow Elastic’s influence in global markets through regionally aligned AR investments and campaigns
What You Bring:
- 4-7 years of experience in Analyst Relations within B2B tech.
- Strong understanding of the observability, security, or AI/search markets and analyst ecosystem
- Experience leading end-to-end analyst evaluations and building positive relationships with analysts
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills — able to translate sophisticated topics into clear, compelling narratives
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Confidence working cross-functionally with executives, technical teams, and marketers in a distributed environment
- Innovative, critical thinking and a proactive, goal-oriented approach
- Experience with AR measurement tools, CRM systems, or survey platforms a plus

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

$106,900—$169,100 USD
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is:
$128,200—$202,700 USD
