This role is responsible for supporting the OCIO project accountant team through invoice processing and reconciliation efforts. Reviews and processes all project invoices, change orders, and purchase orders to ensure timely payments and financial tracking. Through record keeping, analytics, and reporting ensures operational efficiency and payment support to staff.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC and Quincy, MA.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Submit purchase orders for payment as requested by project teams.
• Catalogs and tracks invoices for payments.
• Ensures proper timing of payments against invoices and partners with routes invoices for approvals, as necessary.
• Completes vendor analysis and perform cost reporting to provide billing and payment status to project teams.
• Reviews, processes, and manages invoices to confirm accuracy in charges, account coding, purchase orders, journal entries, etc.
• Responsible for monthly reconciliations and provides analytical support to the accrual process related to unpaid invoices.
• May perform monthly audits of project-level payments to identify possible gaps in received invoices.
• Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our values.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; PMP and or SAFe Certification preferred
• 1-3 years experience supporting IT portfolio financial management processes in an agile context, i.e. SAFe
• Exposure to managing financials in both waterfall and agile project methodology portfolios.
• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), standards, and regulations
• Analytical & problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Presentation skills
• Intermediate Excel
• Knowledge and the ability to interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.
• Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP and or SAFe preferred

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $63,440-$95,160
IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $72,880-$109,320
