The specialist will perform KYC, CDD, and EDD checks, investigate flagged accounts, monitor client transactions, and assist in regulatory reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Expected duties:
- Conduct KYC, CDD, EDD, SOW and other AML/CFT related checks;
- Investigate, review, analyse flagged client accounts;
- Conduct PEP, sanction and adverse media screening;
- Carry out client ongoing monitoring;
- Review any flagged transaction within blockchain analytics tools and other systems, and carry out relevant investigations;
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports;
- Draft and implement procedures and guidelines for the first line as may be required;
- Carry out third-party due diligence and risk assessment and assist in due diligence requests from third parties;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration of fraud prevention measures into business processes;
- Stay up-to-date with the relevant regulations and industry best practices and assist with transposition of the legal requirements into measures and controls;
- Provide assistance to CCO, MLRO and Legal;
- Participate in ad hoc projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and Skills requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Prior experience within a regulated VASP is an advantage
- Knowledge of AML/CFT framework.
- Knowledge of EU regulations e.g. MICA, Travel rule etc…
- Experience with blockchain analytics tools
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Proven analytical and investigation skills
- Professional qualifications in AML and crypto such as CCAS, ICA are considered an advantage
