What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven professional to lead our alliances strategy and execution with open-source software (OSS) partners such as Honeycomb, Backstage by Spotify, GitHub, and other adjacent product companies. This role will focus on building, nurturing, and scaling partnerships that drive mutual growth, increase market share, and strengthen our go-to-market efforts.
As the Alliances & Partnerships Lead, you will serve as the primary relationship owner and strategic partner, responsible for identifying opportunities, co-developing solutions, enabling joint marketing efforts, and driving measurable outcomes through these partnerships.
This role will report to our CRO, and work closely with our Client Principals, Marketing team, Operations Manager, and consultants.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development:
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize partnerships with OSS and adjacent technology companies aligned with our consulting services offerings.
- Develop joint business plans to outline shared goals, co-sell opportunities, and mutual benefits.
- Execution & Enablement:Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and readiness to execute partnership programs.
- Build and lead enablement initiatives to help teams effectively leverage partner solutions in customer engagements.
- Revenue Growth & Metrics:
- Drive measurable results, including revenue from joint opportunities, pipeline growth, and new customer acquisition through alliances.
- Establish KPIs for partnership success and regularly report progress to leadership.
- Thought Leadership:
- Represent the company at partner events, conferences, and industry forums to strengthen the company’s position as a thought leader in the big tech consulting space.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies in OSS and adjacent markets.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in strategic alliances, business development, or partner management, in the tech consulting or OSS ecosystem
- Proven success in building and scaling partnerships with OSS or adjacent technologies
- Experience using a consultative or advisory-based sales approach in a complex enterprise sales environment
- Innovative and creative thinker who can work independently and leverage resources wisely to meet objectives
- Experience with OSS and cloud-native technologies, Agile Methodologies, and Application Lifecycle Development Processes in large enterprises
- First-hand experience selling Software Development consulting services, Cloud Application consulting services, Platform Engineering consulting services, and/or IT Transformation consulting services
- Thrives working cross-functionally to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Values and practices empathy with a high degree of emotional intelligence
Specifics
- Full benefits including unlimited PTO, funded HSA option, and company bonus
- Base salary range: $120,000 - $180,000
- Employment eligibility: must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without the need for sponsorship.
- Travel availability: we divide our time between working remotely, attending industry events, company events, and visiting our client sites located throughout the U.S. We anticipate this role will travel 8-16 times a year
