Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Aircraft Machinist to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Reads and interprets moderately complex blueprint drawings and specifications to set-up and machine items to fabricate out of sequence emergent production parts as required using manual and CNC machines
  • Develops and revises Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry
  • Assists other machinists in completing job responsibilities
  • Follows detailed verbal and/or written instructions

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience
  • 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting machine code data (MCD)
  • 1+ year experience setting up and operating manual and/or CNC machines

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 787 Program Experience
  • Experience in a team environment
  • 3+ years of experience using manual mill and lathe machines
  • 3+ years of experience setting up and fixtures, operating, and programming CNC machines with 3 and 5 axis CNC machines
  • 3+ years of experience setting up NC/CNC machines, including probing and using dial indicators to establish set points.

Summary Pay Range: $68,400-$72,000
