Join Planera to build AI-powered agentic workflows that transform construction planning and scheduling. You'll work strategically to define the AI platform vision and then implement intelligent automation systems, conversational interfaces, and autonomous agents that help construction teams work more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead product development initiatives from conception to launch, with a focus on AI-enhanced scheduling and risk prediction features

  • Design intelligent systems that can identify schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and potential delays before they impact project timelines

  • Co-develop risk assessment algorithms that analyze historical project data to flag potential cost overruns

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and data science to deliver innovative scheduling solutions

  • Conduct market research and user interviews to identify pain points and opportunities in construction scheduling workflows

  • Define product requirements and success metrics for new risk mitigation features

  • Prioritize product backlog based on risk reduction potential, business impact, and user value

  • Champion user experience excellence across all scheduling and risk management interfaces

  • Present product roadmaps and strategic plans to leadership and stakeholders

  • Stay current with industry trends in construction scheduling, risk management, and AI applications

Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably in construction software or similar collaboration intensive verticals

  • AI Expertise: Demonstrated experience shipping AI features or working closely with AI/ML teams, particularly in predictive analytics or risk assessment

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction workflows, risk factors, and cost management or willingness to learn

  • Scheduling Knowledge (bonus points): Understanding of construction scheduling methodologies (e.g., Critical Path Method, Last Planner System)

  • Growth Orientation: Constantly seeking opportunities to learn, improve, and push boundaries in schedule optimization

  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable discussing AI/ML concepts for predictive analytics with engineers

  • Data-Driven: Makes decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data to improve prediction accuracy
