Raspberry AI is a leading provider of industry-defining AI design software for fashion brands and retailers. Our software empowers brands to rapidly understand consumer demand and create unique designs within minutes. Leveraging cutting-edge AI analytics and generative AI capabilities, we help fashion brands revolutionize their design and merchandising processes.

We are a Series A startup, backed by top-tier venture capital firms such as Andreessen Horowitz, Khosla Ventures, MVP and Greycroft.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Product Engineer to build the agentic layer of Raspberry's platform. Today our product gives designers powerful, individual AI tools — image generation, editing, virtual try-on, and more. The next step is making these tools work together autonomously: agents that operate on our collaborative design canvas, chain multi-step creative workflows, and keep designers in control of the output.

This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering and product engineering. You'll design agent architectures and ship the product experiences around them — from model orchestration and tool-use to the React interfaces designers interact with.

Responsibilities
  • Build AI agents that take actions inside Raspberry's design platform — triggering generations, chaining outputs across creative AI tools, and orchestrating multi-step workflows

  • Design the orchestration and tool abstraction layer that exposes Raspberry's creative AI tools as agent-callable actions

  • Architect end-to-end agentic workflows for batch design operations (e.g., sketch → render → colorway → on-body → tech flat)

  • Build conversation, review, and approval interfaces that keep designers in control of agent-driven outputs

  • Evaluate and integrate agent frameworks and LLM capabilities to find the best approaches for our domain

  • Collaborate closely with ML engineers, product, and design to shape the roadmap for AI-powered creative workflows

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time building AI-native products end-to-end

  • Hands-on experience with agent frameworks and orchestration (LangGraph, Anthropic Agent SDK, CrewAI, or similar)

  • Strong full-stack product engineering skills — our frontend is React/Next.js/TypeScript, backend is FastAPI/Python

  • Deep fluency with LLMs and generative AI — prompt engineering, function calling/tool use, multimodal models

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have
  • Experience building collaborative or real-time applications (CRDTs, WebSockets)

  • Background in computer vision, image generation, or diffusion models

  • Experience building tools or workflows for professional creatives (designers, artists, or adjacent domains)

  • Contributions to open-source AI projects or published research

  • Comfort operating in an early-stage startup with fast iteration cycles

Benefits
  • Competitive salary and equity options

  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology with a high-impact team

  • Fully remote with a supportive company culture

  • Be part of a rapidly growing company with significant growth potential
