The AI Operations Manager will analyze and improve workflows across teams using AI, prototype solutions, and enhance operational efficiency, focusing on unblocking bottlenecks and creating impactful systems.
The summary above was generated by AI

Our team is committed to enhancing physician and patient quality of life through Elation, a SaaS cloud-based clinical platform. Since inception, we’ve been focused on building a world-class technology solution that creates an experience of delight and ease for physicians, and that our users love.

At Elation, we are reimagining how we work with AI as a foundational capability, accelerating the impact of every individual. We want our internal systems of work to feel connected end-to-end, not fragmented by handoffs and bottlenecks. Today, much of our work passes across multiple teams, creating delays and friction. We are looking for an AI Operations Manager who can help us see those systems clearly, break them down, and reimagine them with an AI-native lens.

This is a hands-on role, where success is measured by the impact you create, simplifying processes, unblocking bottlenecks, and unlocking efficiency that helps Elation achieve its critical objectives. You’ll analyze how work currently flows, identify where the system stalls, and build and test lightweight prototypes to prove better ways forward. You don’t need to be a deep technical expert, but you should be curious about AI, comfortable experimenting, and eager to build first-pass solutions that others can refine and scale.

What You’ll Do

Discovery & Analysis

  • Unlock efficiency at scale by mapping current systems of work across teams (e.g., onboarding, operations, customer success, support) and deploying focused interventions that drive outsized results.
  • Identify bottlenecks and breakpoints that limit end-to-end flow due to duplicated effort, manual steps, or inconsistent practices across teams.

Design & Build

  • Reimagine flows from an AI-native perspective, proposing orchestrations where automation, AI assistance, or smarter design can reduce friction and accelerate results.
  • Act as a connector between business users, data/tech teams, and leadership, ensuring system improvements make an impact on company goals.
  • Prototype solutions: create early versions of automations, scripts, mockups, or process orchestrations that test your ideas in practice.
  • Design and deploy operational systems: take a builder’s approach to shaping how Elation works by (1) building internal systems where needed, (2) assessing build-vs-buy options for tools and platforms, and (3) leading deployment and adoption of chosen solutions.

Scale & Impact

  • Partner with product, engineering, and operations to translate validated prototypes into durable solutions and advocate for high ROI product development investments.
  • Measure impact by tracking improvements such as faster cycle times, fewer handoffs, reduced manual work, and higher team satisfaction.
  • Document new operating models and ensure that updated approaches are clear, standardized, and adoptable across teams.

What You Bring

Systems & Strategy

  • Analytical mindset: ability to break down complex systems, map flows, and think in end-to-end outcomes.
  • Change leadership and collaboration: experienced in working across functions, listening to pain points, and co-creating solutions with the ability to guide teams through rapid change and help them adapt to new systems and tools.
  • AI native approach: experience applying AI in your own work to reshape flows, reduce bottlenecks, and unlock new possibilities for others.

Execution & Enablement

  • Builder mentality: comfortable rolling up your sleeves to prototype, whether through scripts, low-code tools, or wireframes and able to judge when to build internally versus adopting external tools, weighing trade-offs in speed, cost, and scalability.
  • Clear communicator: able to document orchestrations, write SOPs, and explain system changes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Data literacy: able to use dashboards, metrics, or basic analysis to support your recommendations.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement approaches.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or workflow automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.
  • Prior experience in SaaS or fast-growing environments.
  • Comfort with light scripting or prototyping in low-code/no-code environments

Why This Role Matters

This role puts you at the front edge of how AI is reshaping work, with the opportunity to redefine how a fast-growing company operates at scale. Your work will shape how Elation harnesses AI not just as a tool, but as a catalyst for how we operate. By unblocking bottlenecks and reducing handoffs, you’ll create the conditions for speed, clarity, and focus, allowing our teams to spend more energy on what matters most: transforming healthcare.

Salary range: $130,000-150,000
