We’re looking for an engineer who knows how to make AI systems that do more than just generate text — they take action. This role focuses on building intelligent, tool-using agents that can navigate complex technical environments, identify problems, and reason about remediation paths. You’ll be part of a small, high-caliber team solving hard problems at the intersection of machine learning, systems, and software security.
Day to Day- Design and implement LLM-based agents that can reason, call tools, and operate within real-world environments (e.g., codebases, networked systems)
- Develop and evaluate workflows where agents detect insecure patterns and propose or perform remediations
- Tune foundation models for specific tasks like cryptographic inspection, refactoring, or protocol understanding
- Build toolchains and memory architectures (e.g., vector DBs, scratchpads, tool registries) to support advanced agent behavior
- Collaborate with engineers and domain experts to integrate agents into real-time systems and observability pipelines
- Strong experience with AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, ReAct, AutoGPT, OpenAgents, or custom architectures)
- Deep understanding of LLM behaviors, tool use, function calling, and multi-step reasoning
- Ability to connect AI systems to real tools and data sources (e.g., code parsers, static analyzers, network logs)
- Software engineering fluency (e.g., Python, Rust, or Go) and ability to own model + infrastructure integration end-to-end
- Systems thinking — can model workflows, manage agent state, and reason about downstream impact
- Experience applying AI to code reasoning, static analysis, or software remediation
- Knowledge of cryptographic protocols and common vulnerabilities
- Built agents that autonomously identify and fix misconfigurations or security flaws
- Exposure to compliance automation or large-scale infrastructure audits
