About the Role

Abnormal Security is implementing AI Transformation Pods—focused teams led by AI-Native PMs that identify opportunities and build AI solutions to drive meaningful operational change within our organization. These pods operate with high visibility, presenting their work directly to the CEO and functional executives.

AI Engineers design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that transform internal operations at Abnormal Security. Working in small, focused pods, these engineers apply cutting-edge AI technologies to solve real business problems. You'll be part of a cross-functional team alongside an AI-Native PM and Business Analyst, developing solutions that directly impact operational efficiency and scale.

What you will do
  • Develop AI solutions using LLMs, AI agents, and other tools
  • Build scalable, secure, and ethical AI applications
  • Work closely with AI-Native PMs to refine product requirements
  • Collaborate with the AI Platform team on infrastructure and data needs
  • Test, iterate, and improve solutions based on user feedback
  • Champion best practices for AI development
Must Haves
  • Strong programming skills with experience building AI-powered applications
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, and modern AI frameworks
  • Ability to quickly prototype and iterate on solutions
  • Understanding of operational workflows and business processes
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Passion for solving internal challenges with AI technology
  • Comfort discussing technical solutions with non-technical stakeholders

Base salary range:
$148,800$175,000 USD
