Summary

We’re looking for an AI Business Architect, Sales Operations to lead the transformation of Sales Operations into an AI-first organization. This role sits at the intersection of Sales strategy, business process, data, and technology, translating operational challenges into scalable AI and automation solutions.
You’ll partner with Sales, Sales Operations, IT, Data, and Engineering leadership to identify high-value AI opportunities, redesign end-to-end processes, and architect solutions across CRM, data, and enterprise platforms.
This is more than a strategy role. You’ll need a strong understanding of how Sales Operations actually works — including CRM architecture, pipeline and forecasting processes, data flows, system integrations, and operational workflows — and the technical depth to co-design how AI solutions are built and deployed.

Job Description

ResponsibilitiesAI Strategy & Transformation
  • Define and execute the AI strategy and roadmap for Sales Operations.

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for AI, automation, and agentic workflows based on business value, feasibility, and risk.

  • Redesign sales processes to eliminate manual work, unnecessary handoffs, and operational inefficiencies rather than simply automating existing processes.

  • Establish an AI-first operating model, including human-in-the-loop processes, agent autonomy, governance, and adoption.

  • Define success metrics tied to seller productivity, forecast accuracy, pipeline health, efficiency, and business impact.

AI & Solution Architecture

  • Architect AI-powered solutions across CRM, sales, revenue, data, and enterprise platforms.

  • Design AI agents, RAG solutions, knowledge architectures, and intelligent workflows that integrate with existing systems.

  • Partner with Engineering and IT on APIs, data pipelines, integrations, security, scalability, and technical architecture.

  • Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions across enterprise AI platforms and custom solutions.

  • Establish standards for AI evaluation, observability, data access, versioning, and responsible AI.

Sales Operations & Systems
  • Develop a deep understanding of Sales Operations processes, CRM architecture, and supporting GTM systems.

  • Map workflows, data dependencies, integrations, and system ownership to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvement.

  • Partner with Sales Operations and Business Technology teams to improve data quality and accessibility for AI applications.

  • Ensure AI solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and data governance requirements.

Adoption & Enterprise Scale

  • Drive adoption of AI across Sales Operations and embed AI into everyday workflows.

  • Build AI capabilities within business teams through practical, hands-on enablement.

  • Develop repeatable architecture and governance patterns that allow successful solutions to scale across the enterprise.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Sales and executive leadership on AI opportunities and technology decisions.

Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Architecture, Strategy & Operations, Business Transformation, or Enterprise Architecture.

  • Strong understanding of Sales Operations, CRM/GTM systems, pipeline management, forecasting, sales planning, and seller productivity.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing business transformation and operating models.

  • Strong practical knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and AI-enabled workflow automation.

  • Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems and proprietary business data.

  • Ability to understand and translate complex business processes into scalable technical solutions.

  • Strong systems-thinking skills, including data flows, integrations, dependencies, and downstream impacts.

  • Experience evaluating enterprise AI platforms versus custom solutions.

  • Excellent executive communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to bridge Sales, Operations, IT, Data, and Engineering and drive decisions through influence.

Technical Skills
  • Generative AI / LLM application architecture

  • AI agents and agentic workflows

  • RAG and enterprise knowledge architectures

  • CRM and enterprise system integration

  • APIs and data pipelines

  • AI evaluation and observability

  • Data governance, RBAC, and PII protection

  • Responsible AI and AI governance

  • Enterprise AI platforms and build-vs-buy evaluation

Preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce or comparable enterprise CRM platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with Claude, OpenAI, or comparable LLM platforms.

  • Experience with MCP, tool use, agent orchestration, or multi-agent architectures.

  • Enterprise AI, business architecture, or cloud architecture certification.
