Caterpillar Inc. seeks Aftermarket Insights Sales Data Scientist at its facility located at 501 SW Jefferson Ave, Peoria, IL 61630. Support multiple Aftermarket Digital Products including investigation, data code development, data quality/testing, metadata management, data governance, and answering various questions about the products. Coordinate with multiple projects to ensure data quality practices/standards are met while ensuring applications remain stable. Day to day tasks will vary between gathering requirements, meeting with customers to answer product questions/delivering product training, developing data code to investigate and solve technical product issues, and analyzing big data to provide business insights. Typical customers include internal employees within multiple business processes or functions. May have direct relationships with IT Supervisors, IT Managers, and, in some cases, Directors. REQS: This position requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in Aftermarket Product Support in Data Analytics or Data Engineering or a related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Python; (2) Structured Query Language (SQL); (3) Power BI; (4) Managed Warehouse for Apache Airflow (MWAA); (5) EC2; (6) Snowpark; (7) Stored Procedures; (8) GitHub; (9) Azure DevOps; (10) MS Visual Studio; and (11) Alteryx. Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
