Join Boomi as a Advisory Alliances Presales Engineer on our Sales Engineering team in the US. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to support our strategic partnership with DXC. As the lead solutions consultant for DXC cosell opportunities, you will be the primary technical expert supporting the reseller motion. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement sophisticated products, applications, services, and solutions that empower DXC to deliver innovative and relevant solutions to the market.

What You'll Do : 

  • Develop and communicate a technology plan for our strategic partner, DXC, including future state architectures, tactical initiatives, and business-relevant technology solutions.
  • Research and communicate technology, industry, and market trends, mentoring the DXC team on their application.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive solutions, including other iPaaS tools and on-premise legacy systems, to efficiently address DXC's needs; an understanding of solutions such as MuleSoft, Informatica, TIBCO, and Oracle SOA is essential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key DXC decision-makers, from executive levels to technical architects and development teams.
  • Support DXC in creating and executing go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment with Boomi's strategic objectives.
  • Lead the technical sales cycle for all DXC co-sell opportunities, assisting DXC with technical discovery, demos, proof of value, and solution architecture to drive the reseller motion.
  • Collaborate with the DXC Partner Account Manager (PAM) and Partner Sales Manager (PSM) to support the execution of their account plans.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the PAM and PSM in aligning DXC's strategy with Boomi's offerings.
  • Participate in meetings with DXC, contributing technical insights and recommendations to enhance the partnership engagement.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as product management, marketing, and sales to ensure effective support and alignment for the DXC partnership.

The Experience You Bring:

  • Relevant selling experience or hands-on implementation/architecture experience in a vendor, partner, or service provider role.
  • Ability to influence key decision-makers at DXC and bridge the gap between traditional middleware and modern iPaaS solutions, as well as API management and microservices architecture.
  • 10 or more years of related experience in a relationship-selling role.
  • Expertise in sophisticated products and services offerings, with knowledge or certification in ETL processes, messaging systems, and cloud integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic partner go-to-market plans and driving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong business development experience and a history of building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Bonus Points If You Have : 

  • Experience working at a GSI or SI.
  • Understanding of database technologies, identity and access management (IAM), and DevOps practices.
  • Boomi Platform Certifications.
  • Familiarity with ecosystem partners like ServiceNow, SAP, AWS, and Netsuite.
  • Cloud practitioner certifications.

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role are $201K - $251K (inclusive of commission). Base compensation is determined by various factors including geographic location and the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
