As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a key role in optimizing production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. You will report directly to our Director Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, and you’ll work at our Rocky Mount NC location on an on-site work schedule.


SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Nights: Sunday - Thursday from 10pm - 6am (Shift differential)

Weekends: Either Wednesday through Sunday or Saturday through Wednesday from 7am - 4pm

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity 
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies 
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions 
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams 
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards 
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets 
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing for aerospace or similar field

WE VALUE

  • Desired Advanced Engineering degrees like Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, ME (Mechanical Engineering) etc. based on job title
  • Hands on experience in mechanical troubleshooting
  • Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S
