Job Summary & Responsibilities

IEM is looking for a Full Time - Administrative Assistant that is comfortable with using a computer in an office environment for a general administrative role assisting the IEM team  

Primary Location:   

  • Live anywhere that meets personal office / at home work requirements in the United States including Puerto Rico.
  • Work from a personal office / at home location.
  • Preferred candidates will live within a commutable distance to Port Richey, FL.

Essential Functions: 

  • Coordinate all aspects of office administration, including administrative support including but not limited to:  
    • telephone support  
    • creation of general correspondence 
    • typing  
    • filing  
    • mailing 
    • scheduling  
    • making copies  
    • sending mail including UPS & FedEx 
    • scanning 
    • other administrative duties 
  • Pull documentations needed for contract requirements
  • Data entry for invoicing assist with reviewing of reports.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in office management/administration, preferably with a public agency or assisting grant programs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experienced, energetic, highly motivated, self-motivated, dependable person
  • Must be comfortable in fast paced environment Written and Verbal communication skills
  • The ideal candidate is extremely comfortable with administrative computer usage. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of federally funded grant programs such as CDBG/CDBG-DR and FEMA HMGP
  • Knowledge of various database and program management tools such as SmartSheet, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite products

Additional Information:  

  • Personal Office: All personal office work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed

  • Hourly rate based on location and experience: $18.00-$23.00
