Accounting Manager

Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for full cycle accounting and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial records. The Accounting Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the general ledger, implementing efficient processes, and supporting overall business objectives.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Perform the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure the accounting system and processes are efficient and effective in supporting financial reporting.

• Assist with the year-end financial statement audit with external auditors.

• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.

• Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions when needed.

• Assist in the preparation of management reports to support executive decision-making.

• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to other members of the Finance team.

You will thrive if you:

• Have a CPA designation with 4-7 years of full cycle accounting experience.

• Are knowledgeable about IFRS and/or US GAAP.

• Have previous experience working with Sage Intacct.

• Comfortable working in a multi-entity environment with intercompany transactions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Are detail-oriented and meticulous - you take pride in knowing the details and are obsessed with accuracy.

• Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Have the ability to organize, prioritize, and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

• Can deliver results independently and while working with a team.

• Are able to communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
