Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Part-Time Accountant to join their dynamic team. This company operates in the accounting and financial services sector, with a reputation for providing exceptional support and solutions for clients through modern tools and systems. Over the past few years, they have gained recognition for their efficient use of technology in streamlining processes and enhancing client experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial transactions and ensure they are properly documented and categorized.
  • Handle invoicing and accounts payable/receivable processes.
  • Reconcile financial accounts and statements on a regular basis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for clients.
  • Utilize accounting software tools such as Bill.com, QuickBooks, and Gusto to track financial data.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless flow of financial operations.
  • Apply analytical skills to assess financial performance and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain secure access to sensitive financial data through platforms like Bitwarden.


Requirements
  • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a strong grasp of accounting principles.
  • Experience using Bill.com, QuickBooks, and Gusto.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) and ClickUp for task management.
  • Strong understanding of AI and its applications in accounting practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage part-time responsibilities effectively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in an accounting role or related field.
  • Familiarity with financial security protocols and best practices for data protection.
