The Account Manager develops client relationships, manages sales processes, maintains customer accounts, and ensures client satisfaction while providing RigUp solutions. Travel is required.
The Account Manager is responsible for supporting the partnership with current and prospective customers to sell RigUp solutions. This position collaborates with internal partners to understand all products RigUp offers and pending enhancements. The Account Manager both sells RigUp solutions to potential customers and maintains and upsells to current customers.
This role is based in South Texas and will require travel throughout the region.

What you'll be doing:
Relationship Management and Development:
- Develop and cultivate relationships with stakeholders in an effort to obtain leads for new business opportunities
- Contribute to proposals, new onboarding requests, and customer implementation exercises
- Form partnerships with clients, understanding their operations, challenges, needs and solution around those to bring value additive solutions
Process Management and Documentation:
- Update SalesForce with all communications, create and maintain opportunities, leads, accounts, forecasts etc
- Partner with the Account Executive team on navigating sales efforts and supplement their efforts and win together
- Contributes to the review of documentation and processes to ensure all remain up to date and relevant
- Audits of clients
- Utilizing Google Sheets and Calendar to monitor client start dates, schedule and track meetings, manage onboarding workflows, and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders
Cross-functional Partnerships:
- Onboarding, invoicing, clients, workers
- Liaise with the Operations department on all issues through completion of onboarding documents, customer compliance, and implementation process
- Communicate with customers in a full-service capacity from onboarding through end of work with a regular cadence via in-person, voice call, or electronic means
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or equivalent work experience
- 7-10+ years experience in a sales, business development, client-facing and/or account manager role
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role in the Energy industry
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) and messaging platforms (such as Salesforce)
- Experience in dealing with multiple internal stakeholders to solve problems and introduce positive solutions
- High level of attention to detail and organization
- Intermediate level in Google Sheets or Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite
- Exceptional responsiveness and the flexibility to address client needs beyond standard business hours.

- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to execute on multiple competing priorities
