CareerMD is looking for an Account Manager to join our sales and client support team. The Account Manager drives sales of CareerMD media products, executing both daily outbound call campaigns and managing inbound email marketing campaigns for a specified region of the country. The Account Manager supports clients in their region, both to ensure a successful experience with CareerMD and to upsell and cross-sell CareerMD media products in response to client needs. As an Account Manager, you will handle all aspects of client transactions, maintain accurate client information in our sales database, and work closely with colleagues in marketing to drive sales growth and client awareness of CareerMD’s broad media product line. As a member of this division, which is new to CHG and poised for rapid growth, you will be an integral part of a small team helping to solve strategic problems for the larger CHG organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily outbound call campaigns to prospects and clients to drive sales of upcoming CareerMD media products (career fairs, virtual events, electronic job bulletins, etc)

  • Respond promptly and thoroughly to client inquiries via email or over the phone

  • Build relationships with clients through frequent follow-up and attentiveness to client needs

  • Manage all aspects of client transactions

  • Support product launches by effectively promoting new products

  • Maintain current client information in our sales database

  • Identify new sales prospects and convert them to clients

  • Draft individual client proposals

  • Work with colleagues in technology, marketing, and product to inform product and systems improvements

Qualifications:

  • Excellent phone skills and the ability and desire to create connections over the phone

  • Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills due to high level of multi-tasking requirements

  • Collaborative mindset and desire to drive both individual and team results

  • Ability to learn quickly, self-teach, ask questions, and seek out support when and as needed

Education & Years of Experience:

  • College level education or equivalent work experience

  • 1-3 years of experience with sales and/or business development and/or account management

  • 1-3 years of experience with building business relationships

Preferred Skills:

  • Work experience in healthcare or staffing industries with knowledge of medical terminology may supersede business development/account management experience
