Account Manager (North Central)
Location: Remote, Must reside in the USA
Job Overview:
We are looking for a new Account Manager that will manage and lead part of our North Central territory and provide preK-12 schools and districts with online learning software, professional learning and implementation services which are proven to help all students of all abilities become proficient readers!

Develop, manage and execute a territory plan to achieve territory quota and company strategic goals
Job Responsibilities:

Develop, manage and execute a territory plan to achieve territory quota and company strategic goals.

Maintain a consistently high level of quality sales activity throughout the year by consistently meeting “data-driven selling” measures.

Initiate outreach to new prospects and introduce them to Lexia’s programs.

Establish and effectively manage pilots/evaluations to seed new business.

Identify and address customer needs and expectations.

Demonstrated ability to eloquently and succinctly deliver product presentations to groups and decision makers in-person and via video conferencing.

Manage sales process with district and school level new business prospects.
-
Develop proposals and other professional communications.
-
Prepare renewal and expansion purchasing proposals, consult on purchasing options, then follow to closure.

Collaborate with an aligned Account Specialist and delegate smaller renewal opportunities.

Communicate and coordinate customer training needs in coordination with an aligned Customer Success Manager.
Job Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree minimum or equivalent experience
-
2-5+ years experience in a remote selling or Customer Service position, ideally representing educational technology, curriculum (reading) based products and pre-K to 12 industry highly preferred

Proven success and track record of goal attainment in sales in a deadline-driven and high-volume environment

Demonstrated ability to uncover client needs and propose solutions to close new business opportunities and meet revenue targets on an ongoing basis.

Proficient user of CRM (Salesforce), MS Office and Google Suites, video conferencing software and other technology-based productivity tools

Exceptional methodical, speaking, writing, and presenting skills

Experience as an educator in a K12 setting is a plus

Ability to travel up to 20%
