The Account Manager I will build and maintain partnerships, provide customer support, and promote Favor's services while meeting sales goals.
As an Account Manager I, you’ll be responsible for building relationships with local and regional partners and growing their business with Favor’s platforms. You will strive to become an expert on the various products and tools available. Promoting value through customer experience, you’ll seek to understand the needs of each partner and recommend the products and packages that would most benefit their business. We are looking for a candidate who has working experience growing a book of business utilizing excellent selling techniques and first class customer service.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing local and regional partners by highlighting the value and return of the Favor Merchant Program through relevant data insights
- Troubleshoot and respond to client questions, concerns and requests for information in a timely manner, ensuring high-quality customer service and issue resolution in order to retain current merchants
- Identify merchants who may benefit from a higher tier package, or are missing partnered locations, and engage in the appropriate sales conversations or negotiations
- Utilize forward-thinking, data driven analysis to assist with overall merchant strategy and impact on the business
- Develop medium to long-range sales plans and prepare strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with a defined group of existing customers
- Identify and close cross-sell opportunities for key partners
- Partner closely with the Sales, Content, and Engineering teams to ensure new clients are on-boarded efficiently
- Draft, negotiate, and send agreements and proposals for new growth opportunities
- Guide partnerships through marketplace and last-mile products and services
- Collaborate with Marketing and Content teams to manage our Promotional Calendar
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals
- Review and report on customer retention, business opportunity and market trends
Skills You Have:
- A relevant degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 1+ years of experience in customer facing roles
- Working experience maintaining multiple accounts and client relationships over the phone or in perso
- Accomplished in G-Suite, Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM)

Where you'll work: This role can be hybrid or remote, depending on the team member’s location in Texas. If you live in Austin, Texas, we ask that you work from home roughly three days per week and work at our HQ for the remaining work days. If you live in a different city in Texas, you will primarily work from home, with the opportunity to travel to Austin for company-wide events.
