As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and expanding strategic relationships with DealHub’s strategic customers.

Your primary focus will be to establish trusted relationships with C-level and senior executive stakeholders, understand their strategic business priorities, and position DealHub as a long-term strategic partner. You will own the executive relationship strategy across a portfolio of strategic accounts, working closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and DealHub leadership to deepen customer engagement, identify growth opportunities, and drive retention and expansion.

This is a highly relationship-driven role. You’ll spend significant time engaging with customer executives, developing multi-threaded relationships across the organization, creating executive sponsorship, and identifying opportunities where DealHub can deliver additional business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic relationship with a portfolio of DealHub’s enterprise customers.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level and senior executives, and other business leaders.
  • Establish strong executive sponsorship for DealHub within strategic customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business strategy, organizational priorities, challenges, and growth initiatives.
  • Position DealHub as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor, rather than simply a technology vendor.
  • Build multi-threaded relationships across customer organizations and reduce dependency on individual contacts.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to develop and execute account growth and expansion strategies.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and influence the development of expansion opportunities within strategic accounts.
  • Lead executive-level business reviews and strategic customer meetings.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for strategic customers and coordinate with internal leadership to drive resolution of critical issues.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure strategic accounts have strong success plans, executive alignment, and clear business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans, including stakeholder maps, executive relationships, business priorities, risks, opportunities, and growth plans.
  • Drive customer advocacy, including executive references, case studies, customer events, and customer advisory programs.
  • Represent DealHub in executive customer meetings, industry events, and strategic customer forums.
  • Track and communicate account health, executive engagement, retention risks, and expansion opportunities to DealHub leadership.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in Strategic Account Management, Enterprise Account Management, Account Executive, Customer Success, or a similar role within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Proven experience managing strategic enterprise accounts and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively and build credibility with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand customer strategy, organizational priorities, and business challenges.
  • Proven experience identifying and driving expansion and growth opportunities within existing enterprise accounts.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic account plans.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to operate strategically while maintaining strong attention to customer and business details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Support, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple strategic accounts and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly accountable.
  • Familiarity with CPQ, CRM, Billing, or Sales Enablement platforms is a strong advantage.
