The Account Executive will focus on new business acquisition, utilizing consultative SaaS sales in retail technology, managing sales strategies, and collaborating across teams.
Progress Retail, a Worksmith company, is seeking a driven Account Executive to join our growing team. This role is focused on new business acquisition across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise accounts, and is ideal for someone who thrives in consultative SaaS sales with a passion for retail technology.
What You’ll Do
- Drive full-cycle new business sales: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing deals.
- Manage a multi-channel prospecting strategy, leveraging sales automation and outreach tools.
- Collaborate closely with fellow Account Executives within the Progress Retail business unit and across other Worksmith business units.
- Partner with Worksmith’s VP of Retail and Progress Retail’s CEO to align sales strategy with growth goals.
- Stay up to date on retail operations trends and the overall retail operations ecosystem to serve as a trusted advisor to prospects.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4+ years of SaaS sales experience with proven results.
- Prior experience in retail technology or retail operations strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Hubspot and sales automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations and ability to communicate value to multiple buyer personas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with consultative selling ability.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $90,000–$105,000 plus generous commissions on won business.
