The Account Executive will develop lending relationships, manage accounts, conduct sales calls, and provide training and support to clients.
EPM is growing, and we are seeking Account Executives to join our team. You’ll be responsible for developing lending relationships with third-party originators and expanding existing accounts to increase closed loan volume. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard qualified third-party originator/broker accounts.
- Conduct sales calls with prospective and current accounts to assess strategic fit and opportunities.
- Provide training to accounts on systems, policies, procedures, products, and updates.
- Offer support and service to accounts and their staff.
- Act as a liaison between accounts and the Equity operations teams.
- Collaborate with management and internal teams to maintain professional partnerships with accounts.
- Actively manage accounts pipeline and provide loan projections to management.
- Prioritize and allocate time and resources effectively to meet goals.
- Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Recent experience as a Wholesale Account Executive required.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience required.
- Completion of Anti-Money Laundering, Fair Lending, and Equity Origination training required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Self-starter: highly motivated, dependable, and self-reliant.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and resilience in overcoming sales obstacles.
- Working knowledge of the wholesale lending process, loan programs, guidelines, and regulations.
- Familiarity with local and regional markets and lender competition.
