The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving enterprise software sales, managing the full sales cycle, and developing client relationships.
The Role:
We are expanding our sales team and seeking a self-starting Senior Account Executive with a strong focus on Enterprise sales in the DACH region. This role requires a tenacious new business professional with the gravitas and commercial acumen to position our software portfolio effectively. You will be responsible for identifying and closing high-value software license opportunities, working closely with Apryse's internal resources and presales teams. To succeed in this role, you must bring a proven track record in compliance-related software sales, with the ability to navigate complex cycles involving legal, risk, and IT stakeholders. Ideally, you will also have experience or familiarity with the open source software ecosystem and understand how to position commercial offerings in that context. This role challenges you to sell the intrinsic value of our solutions to senior decision-makers, while addressing the unique needs of Product Managers across both software companies and traditional industries.

Responsibilities:
- Qualify and manage new sales leads through the full sales cycle.
- Identify opportunities that would benefit from our technology suite using a consultative sales approach.
- Work closely with Solution Engineers in gathering requirements and proposing high value solutions.
- Proactively maintain relationships with your accounts and identify future opportunities.
- Gain a deep understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of competing products, and effectively illustrate the value of our high-quality/market-leading solutions to prospects.
- Recognize high value sales opportunities.
- Effectively gather intelligence on markets, prospects, and the competition using various resources.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience selling complex B2B software product(s).
- Good negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly via e-mail and by phone.
- A college or university degree. Technical disciplines or backgrounds are preferred.
- Professional working fluency in English and German.
- Demonstrated success using a consultative approach with key business and technical executives, especially CTOs, VPs of Product Management, and Development/Engineering.
- Consistent history of overachievement, with demonstrated success of multi-year quota achievement.
- An accountable team player with a tenacious drive to win.
- Experienced in using CRM to manage sales cycle.
